Listing rules
niubid is a public leaderboard. No advertising, no API keys, and no revenue share. You pay for a position above other work; rank is decided only by bids.
How ranking works
- New listings accept whole-dollar bids from $1 to $999,999, increasing by at least $1. A listed bid remains unchanged until its owner raises it or another bid overtakes it.
- To take first place, bid at least $1 above the current leader. Lower bids can still list, at the position their amount earns. Equal bids are ordered by submission time, with earlier bids first.
- Enter the same site or @account again to raise that work to any position. The new bid must be at least $1 higher and only the difference is paid; nobody else can take your place by paying that difference.
- Links from App Store, Play Store, GitHub, and similar platforms are identified by path. Tracking parameters are ignored.
What can be listed
- A product website or an X @account.
- Chat and invitation links are not accepted, including Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Messenger, and Signal. niubid is for products and personal homepages, not group-chat traffic.
- Pornographic, NSFW, and adult-platform content is not accepted.
- Listing links have query parameters removed; affiliate, referral, and tracking links cannot be used.
- Short links are not accepted. They are replaced with their final destination before submission.
Categories
Existing work is categorized automatically. Contact the board maintainer if a category is incorrect.
After payment
- Your work is shown publicly; clicks go to the submitted URL or homepage without query parameters.
- Only completed, confirmed payments can truly hold a rank.
